What we collect

When you use our contact form, call or email us, we receive the details you give us: your name, business, email address, phone number, province or territory, and your message. Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your information only to answer your message and, if you ask us to, to look into whether money may be held for you and to act on your instructions. When you write to us, we send an email confirming that your message arrived.

Who sees it

Your information is seen only by Funds Recovery Inc. staff. We do not sell or rent it. It is stored with the service providers who run our systems (our web host, our email provider and, if our own system is briefly unavailable, the backup service that delivers website messages to us), and only for that purpose. We share it with a government authority only when you have asked us to make a claim for you.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and, if you become a client, for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time: call 416-884-6887 or reply to any email from us. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
